Sun, Smart and Globe announced this rate decrease in accordance to the request of the president of the Republic as stated on his SONA today. It is one of the "good news kuno" from the government in helping people to minimize their "text expenses".

I don't know if I will be happy about this or not. I'm partially happy because at least it cuts my "sending messages expenses" into a big half. I'm quite sad because this news only benefits those who have cellphones, those who can afford to text or in other words those on the upper class family only. Which means that the poor people who can't even eat the complete 3 meals a day can never feel this kind of "help". This politicians only care about their own good and not of poor people's good.

I hope that if the government save fund out of this, let it be that they have a project for the poor people to uplift their lives!
